2024 New Year’s Major Project Starting Ceremony, Branch Activity —  Bolion Tech.  Groundbreaking Ceremony of Bolion Tech. New Energy Battery Integrated System (CCS) Production and R&D Base Construction Project

At 9:00 a.m. on 2 January 2024, Bolion Tech. held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new energy battery integrated system (CCS) production and R&D base construction project in Haicang District. Gong Jianyang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Xiamen Haicang Taiwanese Investment Zone, Deputy Secretary of the Haicang District Committee, Secretary of the Party Group of the District Government and District Mayor; Jiang Genyun, Secretary of the Party Group of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of Xiamen Haicang District and Director; Huang Bingwen, Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of the Haicang District; Wu Shenyu, Deputy Director of the District Management Committee; Chen Zhongmou, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, Executive Vice Mayor of the District Government; and Deng Jianhua, Member of the Party Group of the Xiamen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau of the CCP, and Deputy Director of the Bureau; Liu Yi-han, Director of the Project Construction Comprehensive Plan Division of the Xiamen Municipal Construction Bureau, and other leaders attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Mr Wu Yongjin, Chairman of Bolion Tech., and Mr Wang Fucheng, Vice Chairman of Bolion Tech., led members of Bolion Tech.’s senior management and staff representatives to attend the event.

The groundbreaking ceremony was presided over by Mr. Chen, Standing Committee of the Haicang District Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Haicang District. Mr. Chen introduced the leaders and guests, then Mr Wu Yongjin, Chairman of Bolion Tech., made a project introduction, Mr Wu Shenyu, Deputy Director of the Haicang District Management Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of the Committee, and finally Mr Gong Jianyang, Director of the Haicang District Management Committee, announced the commencement of the project.

Mr Wu firstly expressed his warm welcome and high respect to the leaders and guests attending the groundbreaking ceremony, as well as the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Haicang District Party Committee, the Haicang District Government and government departments at all levels who have long cared for and supported the development of Platinum Link in Xiamen, as well as the partners in Xiamen! Wu Dong introduced that the project has a construction area of 106,060 square metres and a land area of 34,198.76 square metres. With a total planned investment of RMB 1 billion, the project will introduce several automated CCS and SMT production lines, make use of 5G technology and equipment, strengthen information management and services, complete digital production transformation, and ultimately build a humanised intelligent factory with high efficiency and energy saving, green environmental protection and comfortable environment. It is expected to add an annual output value of 2 billion yuan after reaching production, an annual new tax of about 80 million yuan, and more than 1,000 new jobs.

Wu Shenyu, Deputy Director of Haicang District Management Committee, delivered a speech at the groundbreaking ceremony. Director Wu said: “The construction of the new energy production and R&D base of Bolion Tech. is an important initiative for Haicang District to implement the national energy strategy and promote the development of new energy industry, as well as an important support for optimising the industrial structure and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the economy, and will also inject new vitality into the promotion of high-quality development of the whole region’s economy”.

Gong Jianyang, Director of the Haicang District Management Committee, announced the official start of the construction project of the new energy battery integrated system (CCS) production and R&D base of Bolion Tech., and the scene was filled with thunderous applause, and the horns of the engineering vehicles and machinery and equipment sounded in unison, marking the official start of the construction of a major project of Bolion Tech. for the New Year of 2024.
